I have a question for the AAEVP people:
Someone does an EVP, and on the playback they 'think' they hear something but are not sure. (This would clearly be a Class-C EVP).
So, they download it to their computer. They put the sound wave through several filters, slow it down, speed it up, play it backwards, clear out background noises, enhance it this way and that way until they come up with something that they try to convince people is a voice answering one of their questions.
That being said, with all the manipulation done to this EVP, wouldn't it now be considered invalid as evidence?
Does tampering with an EVP, in any way, make it invalid as evidence? Yes/No - Why?
Okay Tom, that's my question. Hope it's understandable.
