I have purchased two crystals that have distinct images of faces formed within the structure of the stone itself? One is a half human face with eyes, lips and a bears ear within the sphere of moonstone. I only noticed it when you move it in a certain angle that reflects the light. Another is green Moldavite which is said to be used to contact extraterrestrial beings. No joke but the whole specimen resembles the face of an alien. I have heard of beings and faeries inhabiting the stones but have yet to communicate with them. Has anyone else had stones with strange imprints or marks within the structure of the stones themselves? Lisa

I've noticed 'strange imprints' in some of the stone that I have as well. Light reflecting just the right way on just about any surface can make things seem to appear.
As far as my stones/crystals go, to me, it's Nature's artwork made from cracks and/or veins in the stone. Don't get me wrong, when you find something like that, it's absolutely beautiful; but, I don't think it's anything more than that.
Just my opinion though.

Oh I dont know about that Deb. Put this stone to your forehead for a period of time, and three little voices will start to chatter into your mind. I keep it locked up.

And as the story goes, when St Columba tore down the Tor, the Druids retreated back into their crystal caverns. May be some truth to those ancient Myths and Legends!

My Disclaimer here is that this statement is not in any way coming from me as a CAIPRS representative and it is my own personal belief and should in no way reflect upon the team:
If you have native american beliefs, everything: rocks, trees, rivers, etc have spirits. These spirits will and can communicate if you are willing to listen. Also, depending on where the stone came from; some metaphysical stores "Charge" their crystals before selling them. Sometimes when people charge, they do not realize that they are sending either a piece of themselves, or an outside entity into the crystal, essentially trapping it there. Again, depending on the scenario, sometimes entities become trapped in the crystals in other ways, or they enter the crystal knowing that they are going to be given to a specific human at specific times, so therefore if they hold information that you need for your personal, material, or spiritual growth, they will enter a crystal before you buy it, or possibly at the time it is excavated. Now, some crystals are known to retain memories or known so that you can impress your thoughts or memories into them, so that is in my opinion entirely possible as you are imparting a human energy into a reciever crystal. Lastly, moldavite "supposedly" helps you communicate with E.T. or I.D.E's (Extra Terrestrial or Inter Dimensional Entities), however it was supposedly formed from when the moon crashed into the earth and the moldavite is actually the glass made from the earth particles being super heated by the incoming moon and lifted up into the atmostphere and dropped around the world...My thought is this: I have a few pieces of the moldavite...It is VERY useful as an energy conductor which is earth, air, and fire based, which makes it powerful magic since it is not dictated by one element in particular. As for ET or IDE intelligence within them, that may have come after it was made similar as to how spirits will come into stones after excavation...and remember, ET or IDE's may in fact be terrestrial in origin, merely living underground or underwater where we have yet to be able to explore, OR they may be fully dimensional beings that can phase shift between our reality and theirs...
lots to think about. Sorry for the long post, I hope it helps...Try talking to the stones and see what they say back. If they don't talk, then it's merely matrixing of images in the stones, but if you hear something, that's magick.

Okay, after reading all of this, I do have to say that with some stones, as I hold them, I may feel heat, tingling, and/or vibrations - I guess that could be considered as the stone talking to me, or something trapped within the stone trying to communicate.
Maybe a shape, face, etc. that is seen in a stone or crystal has something to do with what is felt from it. I never thought of it that way.
I like this, something new to consider. Thanks for the mind aerobics; lord knows I can use it - LOL.

Thanx Tom, Also I was thinking of that paranormal occurance where people can imprint images onto film simply through thought manifestation. The moonstone is tingly but simply stares at you, a friend of mine said that it looked evil as she also saw horns in it from a different angle. I just remember reading somewhere that ancient shamans would reincarnate their souls into stones as a way of passing on valuable mystical information. I can see how this sounds like seeing Jesus on your morning toast though. I have often seen images in patterns that are simply like Rorchach photos or ink blots........you see what you want to see I guess . Peace, Lisa

Hey Lisa, You are talking about Thoughtography...We are hopefully going to be doing some experiments with that here as well..We did one back in July but it was more an exercise with ESP. Also, regarding the stone friends, remember that many of the shamanic or druid traditions viewed wearing horns as a means of noting that you are the "Wise" male. Many of them used it as a means to show the world that they are the magus, the true master of the physical elements moving into the spiritual. So it may not be evil... And just cause something is unappealing looking doesn't mean it's evil... Just a thought.
