Anyone aware of? I just read a long scientifical piece in Skeptic about them. I don't have a theory....yet. But the fact that we with all the science we have today, cannot duplicate them is unreal. Advanced society?

Dont know Bill. I have read they were made in Europe, some of them at least. Only a couple have been examined totally, the rest the owners will not let anyone near to do any tests on. And I dont blame them one bit. Science is like jewelry dealers you take a precious stone in to have it refitted and all of the sudden you have a cubit zarconia in place of that stone.

I think one of the most intriguing aspect to the skulls is that upon forensic examination it was found that in theory they should be able to function as silicon chips do in storing information. In fact, they are made from the same raw materials that computer chips are.
According to Mayan legend, there are 8 more skulls out there yet to be found.

The Skulls are the subject of the next Indiana Jones movie. I can't wait to see it.
