Last year, some of the members of the CAIPRS team were given suleiman stones from India. They are said to have protective properties.
I thought I would share the description of them that was given to me by Deb Ahern, director of ghosts and hauntings for the CAIPRS team:
This stone is composed of silicone dioxide (quartz) with flowing
bands,
stripes, and pools of clear crystalline to solid white that contrast
sharply with jet black flows in the background. Delicate shades of
brown, purple, blue, orange, and cinnabar are sometimes also found in
this material.
When polished, the surface luster is very bright and shiny as
opposed to
a duller or waxier surface luster found non some of the other striped
jaspers and agates. This material can be confused with Mexican Zebra
Jasper or Striped Agates Onyx and Jaspers from other localities.
It is easy to recognize by both appearance and vibration after you get to
know it. During research of this stone, the only references to this stone
are in ancient Sanskrit, Farsi, and Tibetan texts. Traditionally, this
stone has been used as a strong protective talisman and for channeling.
It was also used to consume negative entities and then put into salt water
to dissolve the entity and cleanse the stone. It is also quite effective
in balancing Yin/Yang energies.
